Sansui SP-Z9II Vintage Speakers Up For Sale are These Awesome Sounding Vintage Speakers by Sansui - Model SP-Z9II (two) These SP-Z9II's were not originally sold in the United States like the original SP-Z9's were. I am trying to find out the difference between the two models currently so if you have any input please let me know. One tweeter pair shoots its sound out of the top of the cabinet. These speakers are amazing, and have the best sound for classical music and opera I have ever heard. They are smaller than Klipschorns, but have the same quality of sound. This model only marketed in Japan, an not made in large quantities. They sound better for opera, jazz, classical, and non death-metal music than my SP Z911 ste I was using previously. I have set up a pair of SF-1 speakers in the back of the room, and have tried several amp and receivers with this combo, all of which sound better than they did with any other speaker.

Vintage Sansui SP-Z9II Speakers 5-Way 6 Speaker System with 320 Watts and massive 16" Woofer These are late 1970s-era manufactured speakers and were not originally available for sale in the United States (the SP-Z9 model were sold here). These speakers are rare to find and seldom sold here in eBay.  All of the drivers are in very good condition and work very well.  The cabinets exhibit the normal aging for a pair of vintage speakers, but overall I would rate it as very well cared for and is very clean.  There is no rust whatsoever.  The grills look beautiful, but these beautiful speakers are meant to be looked at without them grills. There is a digital power indicators that lights up to the intensity of the sound.  Each speaker has a sound balance control (Normal, Soft 1 and Soft 2).  This helps control the tone of the speakers since these speakers are loud and is appreciated to be listened to at higher volume. The woofers are 16" and are rated at 320 watts.  The center of the woofer cone of one of the speakers has a slight inward dent Each speaker weighs approximately 40 pounds and measures 18.5"  x 10"  x 27".  Please note that the shipping payment reflected here in eBay is approximate cost per speaker box.  Please do not pay until invoice is received to reflect the total shipping cost for the two boxes to be shipped.
